ALAN B. GRASS was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1968 and the California Bar in 1980. He earned his B.A. at the University of Michigan in 1964 and received his J.D. from Harvard University in 1967. Mr. Grass is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and Pi Sigma Alpha, and he was the chairman of the Honors Council Steering Committee from 1963 to 1964. Mr. Grass is a member of the State Bar of California, as well as the Beverly Hills and Los Angeles County Bar Associations. Mr. Grass has been a panelist in several programs for the California Continuing Education of the Bar. From 1983 until 1987, Mr. Grass was an Associate Professor of Law at the Whittier College School of Law in Los Angeles, and also served as the Assistant Professor of Clinical Accounting at the University of Southern California’s School of Business Administration from 1990 to 2001. His practice areas are primarily estate planning and taxation, and business planning.
